"Serial No. OK934, manufactured at the Tula Arsenal in 1943, chambered in 7.62×54R with a 29" round barrel. Bore is bright with strong rifling noted. Serial numbers are matching except for the floor plate. Receiver is marked with the “CH" and “C in circle" proofs. The barrel shank is marked 4444134, which matches the scope; the mount has been electric-penciled with the serial number, a practice associated with post-war refurbishment rather than wartime Tula production. Optics are clear with a sharp T-post reticle. Stock shows expected handling impressions from service use. Action is smooth and functions correctly.
