Previously owned by noted six-gun authority John Taffin, this Smith & Wesson .22/32 Target chambered in .22 Long Rifle is a revolver pistol with a 6-inch barrel, weighing 1.5 pounds. This revolver comes with a Certificate of Authenticity verifying its ownership by John Taffin and remains in very good condition. It represents one of Smith & Wesson's classic small-frame target revolvers known for excellent balance and precision shooting. This particular revolver is pictured and briefly discussed on page 11 of John Taffin's Book of Small-Bore Sixguns, Semi-Autos and Single Shots, and it can also be seen on page 145 of John Taffin's Book of Double-Action Sixguns. Its appearance in multiple published works further ties this firearm directly to Taffin's personal collection and lifelong study of classic American sixguns.
