It has a 30.25" half octagon half round barrel with an excellent bore that appears to have been sleeved. Finish on barrel has turned an overall brown patina. No rust. Receiver has turned grey, with traces of case colors in protected areas. Action works as it should. Stocks are solid with wear and rate about Good. Great candidate for refinishing. Checkering is not overly worn. Small chip out of underside of forestock where it meets receiver. Steel Schnabel tip. LOP is 14". No rear barrel sight (dovetail filled). This rifle is fitted with a very unique custom vernier tang sight. Two-piece staff topped with precise adjustments and Hadley style eyepiece stamped PARKER HALE PH 52 (ENGLAND).
