SN: No serial number. Made circa early 1870‚s. 50-70 Govt. with a 32.5\" barrel. Bore is shiny with light pitting present, rifling remains strong. U.S. single shot military rifle. Rifle has smooth brown patina throughout, U.S. marking can be seen on the breech block and butt plate. Stock is in good condition with handling wear noted throughout, left side of stock has an \"ESA\" cartouche, standing for Erskine S. Allin the designer of the rifle. Action functions properly. Overall good condition. (AL5560)
