Description:
The Smith & Wesson Model 28, also known as the Highway Patrolman, is an N-frame revolver chambered for the .357 Magnum cartridge, in production from 1954 to 1986. It is a high quality matte-finished bead blasted version of the S&W Model 27. The first Model 28-2 was introduced in 1961. This example has a 4" pinned barrel, 6 round fluted cylinder, and wood grips. The grips do have a few chunks missing on the bottom back in the middle where they come together. Otherwise, condition is very nice with revolver showing normal wear. .357 Magnum
