Description:
This all original 5-Screw Smith & Wesson pre-Model 10 in .38 Special is a true classic. Shipped in March of 1949. 6-shot with a 2-inch barrel. This is an all numbers-matching gun, including the stocks. It's in excellent mechanical condition. I have no doubt this was someone's carry piece, as it exhibits the usual signs of carry and handling, but it still retains a lot of that beautiful old S&W blue from the good 'ol days. No rust, no pitting, some random freckling. This is the kind of gun makes you think of Jimmy Cagney and Humphrey Bogart. FFL to FFL only. Sorry, no C&R.
