J.C. Higgins 16-gauge bolt action shotgun with fixed modified choke barrel. Overall condition is good to very good. The metal shows some patina and there are handling marks and scuffs on the stock. However, given its age, it is in pretty good shape.
The JC Higgins 583.21 is a 16-gauge bolt-action shotgun manufactured by High Standard Manufacturing (as the Model 120) for Sears, Roebuck & Co. during the early 1950s. The J.C. Higgins brand was discontinued in 1962.
