Description:
Chambered in .22 Winchester Automatic, the rifle reflects Winchester’s proprietary approach to early semi-automatic reliability. The cartridge was specifically developed to ensure consistent ignition and dependable cycling at a time when standard rimfire ammunition varied widely in quality. The Model 1903 marked Winchester’s successful entry into self-loading sporting arms, offering shooters a reliable alternative to manually operated smallbore rifles. The stocks are a two piece smooth walnut, straight grip, straight comb, and crescent steel buttplate. The LOP is 13 1/4" from trigger to back of buttplate. The stocks have been refinished. Overall the rifle is in Good condition. With a few handler's marks at the butt of the stock along with a little bit of tarnish.
