Description: Classic Winchester Model 70 Super Grade chambered in .458 Winchester Magnum, manufactured in 1956 with serial number 369611. This rifle features a 26-inch barrel and the beautiful walnut stock typical of Super Grade rifles from this era. The wood has excellent figure and presents very well, giving the rifle the classic pre-64 Super Grade appearance collectors appreciate. The rifle shows honest use consistent with age. There is some thinning of the bluing and exterior pitting visible on the barrel, and the metal shows general handling wear. The bore remains clean. There is also a small crack in the wood at the top near the receiver that should be noted. Overall, this is a solid example of a mid-1950s Model 70 Super Grade in a classic dangerous-game chambering. These rifles remain highly sought after by collectors and hunters alike. Please review the photos carefully.
