Description:
Serial #268-22739, .22 LR, 5 1/2 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Ruger New Model Single-Six revolver featuring Vaquero style fixed sights with a rounded blade front sight and square notch rear milled into the topstrap and is thus known unofficially as the "Baby Vaquero" manufactured in 2001. These were built as a limited-edition originally desiged for AcuSport in Ohio and Williams Shooters Supply in Illinois with production of around 600. They have distinct features of faux Scrimshaw Ruger logo grips and case-hardened frames. This example remains in excellent condition retaining virtually all 98-99% original blue with vibrant case colors and excellent grips showing only very minor handling marks and a faint drag line on the cylinder. It comes in a zippered Ruger soft case. A rare Ruger Single-Six that was produced in very small quantities in excellent condition for the advanced Ruger collector. FFL
