Up for sale is an NIB Colt RK Edition Series 70 in .45acp. This is 1 of 300 Colts (Model 01970A1) commissioned by TALO with special serial numbers RKE001-RKE300. This is Pistol Number RKE217 made in 2011. This pistol comes with two (2) 7-round Colt factory magazines, 5-inch barrel. This gun honors the engraving work of Rudolph Kornbrath done during the 1920s and 1930s. This is a fantastic looking Government Model and the work is beautifully executed. This gun is not the stereotypical blinged-out junky-looking guns we see so much of today. No chintzy looking gold plated small parts here, no swoopy-looking sights and triggers with holes. There's a tiny bit of shiny stuff on the barrel bushing and that's it. This is a traditional but beautifully decorated Colt Government Model. I can't remember how long ago I bought this pistol, but it's only been out of the box twice, and that was to be photographed. I have never fired this pistol. As stated, this pistol is NIB, therefore there is no inspection period. Sales are final! Look at the photographs, make your decision. The gun may look different in some photos. That's because the light changes as it's being photographed. There's no photo manipulation going on here, no filtering to make it look all pretty and perfect. Comes with all original paperwork, including the original hang tag. White outer carton and beautiful Colt Blue box are in great shape. Shipping is $65 on this one.
