Winchester Model 70 XTR Featherweight – Classic American Bolt Action
For sale is a Winchester Model 70 XTR Featherweight bolt-action rifle, chambered in the high-velocity 22-250 Remington. Manufactured in 1983, this classic hunting rifle is in good used condition and comes as a complete package with a Leupold VX-II 4-12x40 scope, Uncle Mike's leather sling, and scope caps. It represents the pinnacle of Winchester's Featherweight design—lightweight, accurate, and elegant.
This Model 70 features a 22-inch Featherweight profile barrel with a brushed polish finish and a 1:14" twist rate, optimized for the fast 22-250 cartridge. The action is Winchester's legendary controlled round feed with claw extractor, providing reliable feeding and extraction. The rifle wears a satin finish Grade I black walnut stock with classic Featherweight cut checkering (20 LPI) and a Schnabel fore-end. It features a jeweled bolt, hinged floorplate magazine (5-round capacity), and a Winchester recoil pad. Length of pull is 13 3/4".
Scope & Accessories: The rifle is topped with a Leupold VX-II 4-12x40mm scope with an adjustable objective and fine duplex reticle.
