Description:
This is a scarce very good condition Scarce Colt type Eagle, Crossed Pistol, Pistol Powder Flask with a plain top, fixed charger, nice Eagle with crossed pistols above, front and back, approximately 4 3/8"X 2". The cutter and spring work fine. The body is mostly free of dents and dings, the seams are fine, overall it has a nice patina with one patch of verdigris on one side. This flask is described by Ray Riling in his book "The Powder Flask Book" on pg. 337 and pictured on pg. 340 #763.;
