Description:
This is a full and sealed box of .38 Caliber blank ammunition manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal with smokeless powder dated May 7, 1913. The box features call outs for Colt's Double Action Revolvers with an intact label with excellent graphics. The top is stamped "POWDER LOT 61 SL 40 MAY 7 1913" and the box shows very mild age soiling with excellent graphics. The cloth pull flap is intact and flat on the sides with the top label edge showing some age cracking and flaking. An excellent box to pair with your early military Colt 38 Revolver.
