This is the American Arms Company top-break revolver manufactured in Boston, Mass circa early 1890's and featured a unique rocker type push bar safety on top of the humped back to lock the trigger and a unique sliding switch in the center of the side plate to allow for single or two-stage trigger pull. The metal surfaces retain about 94-96% original nickel finish, showing light handling marks and high edge wear scattered throughout with most of the loss on the cylinder. The original checkered hard rubber grips featuring the American Eagle motifs remain in excellent condition. The barrel address and four patent dates on the topstrap remain crisp and it retains its original front sight blade. The side action selector switch is not properly working. The gun appears to function mechanically with functioning ejector and excellent lockup with slightly loose timing with the safety button strong and functional. Antique SOLD |
