From a Colt advertisement 1940; “The Pocket Model Hammerless Automatic Pistol is a well balanced, light weight arm-compact in design-smooth and “flat as a book” – powerful, accurate and utterly dependable-and safe. This Arm has withstood every test of reliability, durability and safety and as an instrument for practical, instant and unfailing protection has no equal. Aside from being carefully inspected after many of the hundreds of operations in its manufacture, each Colt Automatic Pistol is expertly tested to prove its unfailing action. This Model is particularly well adapted for use in the home and car, as well as on the person, because of its three safety features.” This example, serial number 341473, was produced in 1920 by Colt and has been very nicely restored to a shooting condition and shows 99% finish. A great range toy chambered to fire the wonderful .32 ACP cartage, without worrying about dropping it in the mud or getting it dirty.
