Description:
Most certainly one of the more interesting Model 21's I've seen or had the privilege to offer for sale lately! Gun built with 26" IC/Mod choked barrels that have factory or A&F installed sling eye on bottom rib. Splinter forend is nicely point pattern checkered with blued roller type release and iron. Blued frame with trigger plate factory stamped "Deluxe Field". Beautifully flame figured straight grip buttstock with checkered sidepanels and is checkered in point pattern through the wrist. Gun has a factory or retailer installed sling in the toe line of the stock and a compass on the comb it has a really cool early compass. I have seen this exact same compass on at least one other gun - a very early Griffin & Howe bolt action rifle from the late 1920's. Stock terminates with a proper "Winchester" brand red pad.
Gun remaisn in beautiful overall condition with nearly all blue remaining. Stocks are sound and crisp with nearly all finishes remaining. Bores are brilliant and mechanics are perfect. Compass works, too!!!
