For sale is a rare, original GPS-01 Grip Pod from Grip Pod Systems – the all-metal version made specifically for U.S. military use in the early days of adoption (pre-GPS-02 polymer models).
 
This is the bomb-proof, fully metallic construction collectors seek: solid aluminum body and legs (no polymer anywhere), ribbed grip for secure hold, perforated lightweight leg design, and the signature instant-deploy bipod legs that retract fully into the grip body and pop out at the press of the side button.
 
.The quick-deploy mechanism is crisp and snappy, legs lock securely when retracted, and the Picatinny rail mount is rock-solid.
 
Unlike the current GPS-02 (reinforced polymer body with steel leg inserts), the GPS-01 is the heavier-duty, all-metal predecessor prized for its extreme durability and "built like a tank" feel – ideal for hard-use builds, M4/M16 platforms, or as a collectible piece of U.S. military accessory history. 
 
These very early all-metal units are increasingly hard to find in ANY condition, and this one is in perfect condition!

  • All Federal Firearms License (FFL) rules and regulations apply to all firearm purchases. Buyers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • We gladly accept valid Curio & Relic (C&R) licenses, where legally applicable.
  • Local pickup is available and will require completion of ATF Form 4473 and a successful background check.
  • A three (3) day non-firing inspection period is provided on all firearms. Once the firearm has been transferred from your receiving FFL, it is considered your property and is no longer eligible for return except as outlined below.
  • Shipping Damage: Firearms must be inspected immediately upon receipt. Any shipping damage must be reported immediately so it may be addressed appropriately.
  • Listing Accuracy: Every effort is made to ensure listings are accurate. If there is a discrepancy in the listing or you believe an item was misrepresented, please contact us promptly.
  • Returns: Returns are accepted with the buyer responsible for all return shipping costs. Returns for reasons other than verified shipping damage or confirmed listing discrepancies are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
  • Condition of Returns: All returned firearms must be unfired, unmodified, and in the same condition as when originally shipped, including all original packaging and accessories.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Ammunition, magazines, and accessories are not eligible for return.
  • Legal Responsibility: The buyer is solely responsible for ensuring the firearm is legal to own in their jurisdiction. Orders that cannot be completed due to legal restrictions or failed background checks may be subject to return shipping costs and applicable fees.
  • Payment Terms: Credit card payments must be made within seven (7) days of close.
  • Check Payments: Checks must be mailed within fourteen (14) days and received within twenty-one (21) days of close. Additional time may be allowed for holidays.
  • Layaway Option: A 60-day layaway is available under the following terms:
    • One-third (1/3) of the purchase price is due immediately.
    • One-third (1/3) of the purchase price is due within thirty (30) days.
    • The final one-third (1/3) payment is due within sixty (60) days.
    • If any payment is more than thirty (30) days late, all payments made will be forfeited and the item will be relisted for sale with no exceptions.
