Description:
US Mills Model 1894, 100-Round dark blue, Cartridge Belt. The Spanish American War period belt has a double row of fifty cartridge loops. It was made to fit the .30 Army, (.30-40 Krag-Jorgensen) rounds. This example has no buckle. The belt shows signs of use and age and has light storage dust, as well as a few very small spots of verdigris and the brass has toned to a dark brass patina. The hardware is marked "PAT. MILLS & ORNDORFF" with patent dates to 1894. ;
