The Ruger EC9s is a slim, lightweight subcompact semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger, designed specifically for everyday concealed carry. It is marketed as a more affordable, "essential" version of the Ruger LC9s, achieving cost savings through simplified manufacturing processes. Striker-Fired Action features a short, light, and crisp trigger pull (typically between 5.5 and 6.5 lbs) for improved accuracy and faster follow-up shots. Integral Sights to reduce costs and prevent snagging during a draw, the low-profile sights are machined integrally into the slide rather than being adjustable or driftable. Compact Construction built with a one-piece, high-performance glass-filled nylon grip frame and a through-hardened alloy steel slide with a black oxide finish. Includes a manual thumb safety, an integrated trigger safety, a magazine disconnect and a visual inspection port to check for a loaded chamber.
