Description:
The FN FNX-9is a hammer-fired, semi-automatic pistol designed for reliability and versatility, featuring a double-action/single-action (DA/SA) operation. While the standard model is widely cited as having a 4.0-inch barrel, it is occasionally described in various retail contexts with a 3.75-inch or 4-inch barrel specification. The pistol features a traditional double-action/single-action trigger, allowing for a deliberate first pull (9–12 lbs) and a crisp, lighter single-action follow-up (4–5 lbs). Fully Ambidextrous Controls: Includes mirrored safety/decocking levers, slide stop levers, and magazine releases on both sides of the frame. The frame-mounted manual safety allows the pistol to be carried "cocked and locked" (Condition One) like a 1911 or safely decocked for a double-action first shot. Built on a polymer frame with a low-bore axis to reduce felt recoil. 9mm Luger
