This is a Swiss Border Guard-issued SIG P220 (P75) in 9mm, one of 2,500 produced in the Z-prefix serial range, featuring military markings including the Swiss cross-in-shield and encircled SIG logo, with night sights, a metal magazine release guard, and an included Bianchi breakaway holster.

Description:

One of 2500 P220 pistols cal. 9mmP made for the Swiss Border Guard in the serial range Z1000001-Z1002500. Standard configuration SIG Sauer P220 with early form drift adjustable front and rear night sights. The left side of the slide is marked with the encircled SIG logo. Top of slide with the Swiss Cross-in-Shield. Full military style "Z1001469" serial number is repeated on the right side barrel hood, the right side of the slide and the right side of the frame. Fitted with two piece black plastic grips molded to have bordered checkering, each panel secured with two screws. Unmarked single column stainless steel magazine, correct for the border guard guns, whose release is protected by the requisite metal guard. Complete with a nylon/plastic Bianchi International breakaway holster.

Condition:

VG+ original condition blued slide and black alloy frame with muzzle/ sharp edge/holster wear in the usual locations, though virtually no wear on front strap. Comparable condition black plastic grips, slotted screws with faded domes but no slot distortions. Excellent stainless steel magazine. Mirror bright bore. Correct manual mechanics. EXC holster.
