Description:
For your consideration is a custom build Miroku Winchester Model 71 Deluxe S chambered in .348 Ackley Improved which was built to hunt the great bears of Alaska. Features include:
22" barrel for easier handling
XS sights, blade front, rear peep
Custom full-length 6-round magazine tube (original tube magazine is included)
Custom trigger
Custom grip cap with letter SR. These are readily available and replacement is easy if the next owner felt inclined to replace it. It's even better if your initials are "S.R." or "R.S."
The rifle has only been to the range as shown by the condition of the amazing stock. The receiver at one time had a Turnbull red dot mount installed which attached to the left side of the receiver in the factory drilled and tapped holes. There are a few minor scratches there where the mount was affixed and one minor scratch on the bottom of the magazine tube. The receiver is factory drilled and tapped and no additional holes were drilled with exception of the rear peep.
If you are not familiar with the .348 Ackley Improved, it is a blown-out shoulder allowing for a straighter wall and enhanced powder capacity and less bolt trust on the cartridge. This rifle is capable of firing both factory .348 winchester as well as the reloaded .348AI. The brass for the .348AI is formed by firing factory ammo.
Along with this rifle will come a set of custom Whidden micrometer dies ($350+ new) , brass and the original magazine tube in the original Winchester box.
SAFETY WARNING- Buyer is solely responsible for determining that a used gun is safe to shoot. The firearms offered may or may not have been test fired, and some have been only visually inspected. The buyer agrees to hold seller harmless against damages, injury, or death caused by defective merchandise.
RETURN POLICY- All firearms come with a 3-day non firing, no-tinkering with (turning screws, taking apart, removing parts, scoping. firing, cleaning or altering in any way) inspection/return privilege. Inspection is based on a visual review of the firearm to confirm that it is in the condition stated. In the case of a return, the buyer pays all shipping charges both ways. Please ask questions.
The item may be returned for any reason, but the buyer must notify the seller within the three (3) calendar day inspection period. The buyer must start the return within the next four (4) calendar days to receive a complete refund, less all shipping, transaction fees and FFL charges. On a return the buyer must not remove the firearm from the FFL premises without approval of the seller. Once the firearm has been received by the seller and inspected a prompt refund will be issued. Shipping must start within one week of receipt of the item(s). The return shipping must be of equal shipping level, including insurance i.e... Priority, Express, Blue Label etc. The return item MUST be in the same condition as when shipped to the buyer. This is an inspection period only, a gun is not to be fired or disassembled.
