The Browning A5 (modern production) is a 12-gauge, recoil-operated semi-automatic shotgun that combines the iconic "humpback" profile of the original Auto-5 with modern inertia-driven technology. Reintroduced in 2012, this version is designed to be lightweight, fast-cycling, and highly reliable across a wide range of hunting and sporting loads. Inflex II Recoil Pad uses internal baffles to direct recoil downward and away from the shooter's face, significantly reducing felt recoil compared to older designs. Total Barrel Dynamics Features a Vector Pro lengthened forcing cone and back-bored technology to improve shot pattern consistency and reduce pellet deformation.
