REDUCED Other than the most minor evidence of being handled and the incorrect front sling swivel, this terrific example looks like it just left Winchester New Haven 60 or so years ago. You will not find another better (we have another nearly as nice...see sellers other listings) unless new in box.
These fine us made 22's with good old American Walnut and blued steel represents were what every boy of a certaiin age wanted with visions of squirrels and rabbits in the bag. Many no doubt were bought at local hardware stores with money from paper routes and snow shoveling .
This gun could not possibly be nicer (condtion) and we have a 2d one like it for those buying guns for a pair of grandsons.
These were made from approx 1935 to very early 60s.
