Description:
REDUCED Really nice .54 fullstocked Hawken style rifle. Walnut stock with German Silver fittings. Rear sight has been moved forward from filled original dovetail. Vintage tang mounted KING peep sight . Missing middle barrelpin. The heavy octagonal barrel is 36.5"×1". Very good plus bore. Unmarked lock. Double set triggers. LOP is 14.25". Rifle weighs 9.75 lbs. Comes with ball bag, balls, preloaders, and 3 ball loading block. Inside of patchbox says "Russ White 1973 and Overall winner Calif in pencil. Silver plate on cheekpiece reads "Wa-ku'-ta", which translates to "The Shooter" in the Santee Dakota language, as documented in 19th-century records of Santee names. Overall in very good plus condition. $800 + Shipping ($725 if you don't want tang sight).
