Built on a best quality Merkel 300 Series Blitz action with ejectors, double Kersten locks and double underbites. 2 ¾-inch German Nitro proof.
28” solid rib, bright and clean barrels with a single front bead. Choked IM/IM (.020/.020). Bores measure .618/.618. Minimum wall thickness: R 0.030 and L 0.031.
Well-figured and finely checkered straight grip stock with 3-piece forend.

Nicely hand-cut scroll engraving retaining much of the original case coloring. Minor blueing wear on the edges of the trigger guard and grip, rated Very Good or better. Stock in excellent condition; void of scratches or dents.
