The Glock 36 uses Glock’s striker-fired Safe Action system, which incorporates three internal safeties (trigger safety, firing-pin safety, and drop safety). It operates with a short-recoil, locked-breech system and fires in semi-automatic mode.
Unlike most Glock pistols that use double-stack magazines, the Glock 36 has a single-stack magazine, making the grip thinner and easier to conceal. This design allows shooters to carry the powerful .45 ACP cartridge in a compact handgun.
The pistol features a polymer frame and steel slide, which helps reduce weight while maintaining durability. Its compact size and slim frame make it suitable for concealed carry or backup use.
