Description:
Offered is an antique brass single?prong belt buckle of classic rectangular frame design. Buckles of this style
were widely used on leather belts during the late 19th and early 20th centuries for both civilian and military use.

The buckle features a solid cast brass frame with rounded arch top and integrated center bar with rotating prong.
This construction provided durability and reliable fastening when paired with a leather belt with punched holes.

Hardware of this pattern was commonly found on work belts, military equipment belts, harness gear, and everyday
leather belts from the turn of the century period. The heavy cast brass construction and aged patina are consistent
with period belt hardware from approximately the late 1800s through the early 1900s.

Condition:
Good antique condition with natural aged brass patina and honest surface wear from use. The prong rotates freely
and the buckle remains solid and functional.

Material: Brass
Type: Single?prong belt buckle
Design: Rectangular frame with center bar and prong
Period: Late 19th -early 20th century
