For sale is a 1963 Browning 22 Rim - Fire Automatic Take Down Rifle. The Browning Auto SA - 22 Is a timeless design with compact features to be taken down to a compact length of only 19 inches for storage or packing. This gun was made in 1963 FN. (Fabrique National) in Belgum, and has beautiful standard checkered American walnut wood in the maple color. FN. comes with a light engraved blue steel reciever, and an adjustable rear sight. The serial number is 3180856. The guns blueing is beautiful making this gun an absolute find as it is 63 years old. In its small porportions you will find a rifle that makes the most of neat, slender lines, light weight, and fine balance. It's the kind of rifle that either beginner or expert can enjoy shooting. This autoloader will rise and settle into the firing postion with amazing ease. It will stay on target under rapid firing conditions. A great safety feature is that the loading magazine is located in the stock, so the muzzle naturally points away from you when loading. The reciever is completely closed on the top and sides, making the bottom the only place that empty cartiges and harmful gases are directed out of the bottom of the gun directling them away from the shooter or bystandards. With the bottom ejection it is the perfect gun for both left and right handed shooters. The gun comes with an enlarged finger pad for easy on and off for the safety. This gun is also made for the saftey to be changed to a left handed saftey by a Gun Smith very easily if desired later on.
