Offered for sale today is this very nice Smith&Wesson Pre-Model 10. This revolver shipped in March of 1949, and is an all numbers-matching gun, and yes, the stocks are numbered to the gun. This five-screw gun is in excellent mechanical condition. The CCH on hammer and trigger still looks really good.
This is a used gun of course, and I suspect it was someone's carry gun. Therefore it has some typical signs of carry wear...holster wear at the muzzle, a little high edge wear, and a bit of freckling on the back strap. The original stocks are in excellent condition. Look at the photographs and draw your own conclusions as to its condition. Sale is final. This is a working gun, okay? Not a safe queen. This gun is ready for another 76 years of service!
