J.C. Higgins Model 36 - Semi - Auto .22 LR Rifle - Smooth two piece walnut stock and forend with butt plate. 24 In long barrel with adj. open rear sight and a ramped front bead sight. Tubular magazine with 16 round capacity. Bore is clean and bright . Barrel and receiver are retaining approx. 95% bluing. Stock and forend are in exceptional condition with minimal handling marks. Includes a new soft sleeve. Overall condition is excellent operated perfectly. The Model 36 was one of the last J.C. Higgins series manufactured by High Standard before the introduction of the Ted Williams line. Manufactured from 1955 to 1957. Nice addition to any collection.
