The Verona LX 501 28 gauge is an over/under (O/U) shotgun manufactured in Italy, primarily by F.A.I.R. (Fabbrica Armi Isidoro Rizzini), though some were also produced by Fausti and Pietta. It was imported into the U.S. by firms such as BC Outdoors and Legacy Sports International before being discontinued. Key Specifications & Features Action Type: Break-action over/under with a single selective mechanical trigger. Chamber: Specifically for the 28 gauge model, it typically features a 2 ¾-inch chamber. Barrel: Most often found with 28-inch ventilated rib barrels. Chokes: While larger gauges (12 and 20) often use screw-in chokes, many 28 gauge and .410 models were manufactured with fixed chokes, though some variants do accept screw-in chokes.
