Description:
Serial #8K31133, .22 LR, 4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1975-made revolver that has retained practically all of the original blue finish with only a mild turn-ring on the cylinder, and a polished area on the inside of the recoil shield attesting to any use. The trigger and target hammer retains a commensurate amount of original color case-hardening, and the later added checkered, S&W medallion target stocks are likewise in excellent shape with almost no handling marks, and only trace flattening to the points. The lock-up is tight and the action functions flawlessly. The revolver comes with the original matching numbered blue two-piece Bangor Punta box along with the instruction sheet, warranty card, and S&W sales pamphlets. It no longer fits in the box due to the added target grips. This is a splendid pinned and recessed .22 Combat Masterpiece, and is in excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R;
