The Ruger Model 96 lever-action rifle is chambered in .44 Magnum and .44 Special. It features an 18.5-inch barrel, blued steel finish, and a case-colored lever. The rifle includes adjustable sights with a flip-up rear configuration and a smooth wood stock fitted with a factory hard rubber recoil pad. The receiver’s bluing shows a purplish tint, a characteristic finish variation sometimes seen on this model. The serial number is 640-00156, indicating production in 1996.
This rifle is used and described as being in like-new, unfired condition. The bore and action are noted as unused, and no functional wear is indicated.
