This example would have started out life as a flintlock and converted sometime after the more reliable percussion firing system was introduced. This would have been an officer’s or gentleman’s pistol, it is a full-sized pistol without being too big or bulky; certainly more refined than typical armory produced and mass issued weapons. We believe this would have been made in Eastern Europe. The overall condition is fine. Clear Damascus pattern on the barrel. Some gold finish remains on the brass hardware. The action is strong. The bore is smooth with patina. There is a small repair at the rear trigger guard tang. The stock shows use and remains solid throughout. Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction. Barrel is 8-5/8 inches. Caliber: .58 Percussion Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE.
