French military rifle Gras MLE M1874 dated 1879 in 11 MM (43) caliber with original bayonet and scabbard. Main military rifle until the adoption of the Label but utilized in some cases until after WW2. The full wood stock is in very good condition with military markings. The metal is A smooth dark blue with military markings. The bore shows good rifling. The action seems to work well. The rifle appears complete with cleaning rod sling swivels and original bayonet.
