Description:
For sale is an all original Smith & Wesson Model 1917 with original holster. Serial number is 16227. Matching serial number under barrel and on cylinder. "United States Property" stamped under barrel. "S" proof stamps along with the early U.S. Army Inspector Gilbert H Stewart stamp. There is holster wear and tear on both sides of the barrel. Holster is "G&K 1918 A.G." The leather shows considerable wear. Also included is a sealed yellow pack of half moon clips. The revolver is chambered in .45 ACP. Left side of barrel reads "S&W DA 45". Bluing is original. Year of manufacture is 1918. Feel free to reach out with offers.
