NEAR NEW CONDITION PRE-WAR MODEL ’94 CARBINE, .30 WCF, #1308XXX, MADE 1941. I’ve often wondered when I’ve seen guns made about this time that are in about new, unused condition if their original owners were young men who purchased them before entering World War II, put them in storage, and never made it home. This example shows minimal use- a slight bit of blue thinning by the serial number and on the high edges of the barrel bands is about all the wear on this one, and you have to look carefully to see it. Can’t say much more about it except that it looks the way it did when it was purchased 85 years ago.
