Description:
The Ruger SP101 is a small-frame, all-steel double-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum and is also compatible with .38 Special and .38 Special +P ammunition. The 3-inch barrel is highly favored for its balance of concealment and shootability, as the extra weight and barrel length help manage the recoil of powerful magnum loads. Features solid steel sidewalls with no weakening side plates, contributing to its reputation for extreme durability and reliability under high pressure. The cylinder is secured into the frame at the front, rear, and bottom, ensuring positive alignment and dependable operation shot after shot. Equipped with a patented Ruger rubber grip that has no exposed metal at the backstrap, significantly reducing felt recoil and increasing shooter comfort.
