Description:
The Savage® 25 Lightweight Varmint, chambered in .223 Remington, rifle is a bolt-action rifle that delivers excellent accuracy, making it ideal for varmint and predator hunters. The Savage 25 features the AccuTrigger® that is user adjustable to get a light, crisp release with no creep; and a lever mounted within the trigger body blocks the sear unless the trigger is intentionally pressed in the center, virtually minimizing the risk of accidental discharge. The basic bolt design operates with 3 lugs, giving it a low 60º bolt lift that keeps the shooter's knuckles from hitting a low-mounted scope. The trim receiver has a partially enclosed ejection port and is perfectly scaled to fit a .223-size cartridge. The 2-position safety is located on the right side of the bolt and allows the bolt to be opened for loading and unloading with the safety engaged. A detachable magazine provides quick reloading and safe unloading.
