Description:
The Winchester Model 21 was a shotgun built for the carriage trade. In many ways they are the equivalent of English 'bespoke' guns. This one has high grade wood with very nice figure and grain. The metal has a few spots of rust, but is excellent in between them. The metal is heavily engraved with Acanthus scrollwork, surrounding gold-filled pheasants and dogs. It has an assisted open action, the top lever is near center, and it appears to lock up tight to the face. The bottom of the receiver is engraved with the terms "TRAP" and "SKEET" The date of manufacture traces to 1931. 16 Gauge

Metal Condition: "Good to very good. There is some rust around the muzzle, and a little patch near the breech. The blue is excellent, and all engravings are sharp.
Wood Condition: Very good to excellent. The checkering is sharp and clean with little to no flattening.
Bore Condition: Shiny and bright.

Triggers: Single selective trigger.
