Description:
The Model 59 is an improved Model 58 with a 23 inch round barrel chambered in 22 Short, Long and Long Rifle caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Barreled action retains most blue with scattered areas of flaking. Sights include a blade front and V-notch rear. Pistolgrip stock is in good condition with what appears to be evidence of a tang sight at one time and a small sliver missing on the left side by the bolt . Hard rubber buttplate is in good condition. About 9,200 of these rifles were made between 1930 and 1931 and this example looks better than most. A nice single shot 22 caliber rifle to teach the grandchildren on or enjoy for yourself at the range.
