Description:
This is a 19th century Napoleonic Briquet Short Sword in very good condition. The handle is cast brass and is marked U in a circle over 803, 6 and two STAR A. The 23" unsharpened bright blade is nearly free of blemishes, light speckled surface oxidation, nice tip and is marked on the ricasso 1 1. The black leather scabbard is in very good condition with brass chape and locket. The locket shows heavy use with dents. Very nice example a classic sword.;
