Description:
The Beretta M1951 (also known as the M951 or Brigadier) is a semi-automatic, single-action pistol that served as the primary precursor to the famous Beretta 92 series. Developed in the late 1940s and early 1950s, it was Beretta's first successful locked-breech design, moving away from their traditional blowback mechanisms. A single-action only (SAO) pistol featuring a short-recoil, locked-breech system inspired by the Walther P38. Open Slide Design features the iconic Beretta open-top slide, which reduces weight and helps prevent "stovepipe" malfunctions. Safety Mechanism is distinguished by a cross-bolt safety located at the top rear of the grip panels rather than a slide-mounted lever. 9mm Luger
