Remington Model 1100 Deer Gun semiautomatic shotgun chambered in 12 Gauge. Engraved receiver and left side of receiver marked "DPS-28445". Introduced to the U.S. market in 1963 and by 1983 it was one of the the best selling autoloading shotgun. Date coded to March 1986. 22-inch barrel with 2-3/4 inch chamber, iron sights, and a fixed choke that gauges Cylinder. Comes with a letter of provenance detailing its service with the Texas Rangers in the Texas Department of Public Safety.
