Description:
This is a Mauser made Luger that was made during the 'Sneak" period in 1929 when Germany was not supposed to be making Luger pistols. So collectors call this varialtion "Sneak". It is 7.65mm Luger caliber and Crown N proofed. It has a mirror bore and all matching numbers. Action is smooth and tight. Magazine is period correct but not matching.. Barrel is 3 3/4" long per the post WWI treaty rules. It is Not "Germany" marked so it was made for sales within Germany after WWI. A beautiful pistol that is marked DWM on the toggle but was assembled by Mauser when they took over that company in 1929. Just to be clear this is not a 1920 commercial. It a much later Mauser with beautiful quality of production. The condition is near mint.
