My father was a WW2 vet and bought this gun right after the war. It has been in my family for over 70 years. I believe this rifle has hardly been shot. We only shot this gun once the whole time we owned it .The forward hand guard and sight that were damaged were replaced, other than that the gun is as he bought it. I am pretty sure it is a lend lease rifle and has the British proofs on the barrel. All of the numbers that I have found seem to agree with a 1942 manufacture. $2400 OBO.
