Originally produced from 1967 to 1983, the Model 788 earned a reputation as a "budget tack driver," delivering performance that often rivaled more expensive rifles. This example is in overall very good condition, showing only mild handling marks consistent with normal use. The metal retains a strong, clean appearance, while the stock remains solid and functional with light cosmetic wear. This rifle is topped with a 3–9x40 scope.
