Description:
Inland M1 Carbine chambered in 30 carbine. The top of the receiver is marked "U.S. CARBINE / CAL. 30 M1" on the front and "INLAND DIV. / 814658" on the rear. The top of the barrel is marked "INLAND MFG. DIV. / GENERAL MOTORS / 9 - 43". The right rear of the type 2 trigger housing is stamped "INLAND" and does not have the 5/6 hole opposite the mag catch. The type 3 hammer is marked "NI" which is an Inland part. The type C / III magazine release is marked "WI" which is "Wadsworth Watch Case Coan" for Inland. The smooth push button safety is unmarked which is Inland and others. The inside of the type V operating slide is marked "PI" which is Inland. The flat bolt is marked "IO 2" which is an Inland mark. The front sight is marked "N" which is an Inland mark and others. The front sight is marked "N" which is an Inland mark and others. The front sight is a post set between two protective wings. The rear sight is flip peep sight. The first style barrel band is unmarked. The inside of the two rivet upper handguard is marked with the deep sighting groove. The rear left of the stock is marked "IO" in the sling well for Inland. The magazine is marked "AI" which is an Inland mark. This rifle does not come with a sling or oiler .30 Carbine
